    Question

I was told that on Mike Brantley's site there were instructions on how to build a steadi-cam for a super8 camera. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me where that is, or how I could build one. Or if you just want to give me one that would be cool too. Just kidding. Anyway, I really want a steadi-cam. Thanks.

Here are pages showing how to make two types of very-homemade-looking steadicams. Both are from The 8mm Film Format Metadirectory, which is the fountainhead of all goodness.

    Hope this helps.

    Try this page

It has links to a few home-made stabiliser ideas; I@m currently building one myself based on the 'JR' type
